The Jerusalem workshop dealing with problems after primary treatment went extremely well . More than 200 people attended. I was thrilled that almost half the people attending were wives or partners. It was very rewarding to us,the Foundation, how grateful people were. This was the first time that event has been held in the Capital. More than 50 signed up for the support group that we intend forming towards the end of October.
It was very interesting to note that most of the questions directed at the panel dealt with urinary and ED problems. A few dealt with a rising psa. We are planning similar workshops in the Tel Aviv and Ashdod areas.
I have spoken to several PCa specialists about forming a panel of experts in the various fields of treatments. The idea would be that a newly diagnosed man who has been told that he can under go any treatment and HE must decided. A lot of men are at a loss, frustrated and angry. By presenting his case to the panel he would hear all the expert opinions and the resulting discussion or arguments. Hopefully, he willgo away with an answer.
I want to take this oppertunity to wish you all a Happy New Year. If you visit Israel, please contact me.

The Jerusalem Support Group is closing down for the summer. After the workshop in September we hope to start an extended group that will be Hebrew speaking as we do not have enough Anglos interested.
You are welcome to come to the Ranana group. Take a train to Herzlia and then the 29 bus from the station and get off at Beit Levensyein

I'm very interested in participating in the Jerusalem group. I won't be able to come this month as the meeting conflicts with my treatment appointment (Finishing this week!). I look forward to coming to the next session.
