Hmmm Wish I had something profound to say but it IS early in the morning and only one cup of coffee so far... I am hoping more will chime in on this discussion as I believe it touches on a lot of issues. Will try to have something more to say later.

As one who has had sub total cryo , partial ablation, I sometimes think that I have more fear of a recurrence, on the other hand I read the same fears brought up by guys who have had RP. My real fear is in establishing a valid baseline from which to "watch" for recrurrence. Someone handed me a survivor T shirt at a parade. I am not comfortable wearing it yet. I don't consider myself a survivor until I have had at least another year. Not that I wouldn't wear it but the label doesn't seem to fit yet... more like treated and so far so good.

I have just posted a podcast about fear of recurrence to the coping with prostate cancer group. If you are not a member of that group you may want to listen to the podcast and share it with people in your networks.

You can find it here.
