The "New" Prostate Cancer InfoLink Social Network

A Service of Prostate Cancer International

Brothers Gene and Milton, ages 56 and 64 respectively, are all smiles on the afternoon after their LRPs.

The two were out of the OR by 10:30 AM and by 5 PM they were making plans for prostate cancer awareness. The nurses loved them for their positive attitude but worried constantly about mixing up their records (so did I). Michelle, our charge nurse, made sure they did not get the same nurse, to help minimize the confusion.

The next day I was pleased to learn that both had organ confined cancer with clean margins. Someone asked: what if they had different results?

From the hospital to the airport and all the way home to Tortola, it must have been nice to have someone so close to share with. Wives are great, but a brother with a catheter just like yours? I imagine that would be priceless.
