Dear Ajay, Thanks for the update. My surgery was in May, and I haven't seen the surgeon since then (There was a resident who came by the morning after, but that was it.) My wife took out my catheter because everybody was going away for Memorial Weekend, and staying away. We had another appointment the following week, but the surgeon called after we had been waiting about an hour, said could we please wait another hour, and we said no. The assistant let us read the path report ourselves.
Well, after two months I am not as far progressed as I would like, but the pain of surgery and the obstruction before surgery are gone. That is good.
Thanks again for writing and I hope you will continue to get better. Allan

Good to hear from you Ajay! I'll ask about the pump my next appt in August. I also still have minor leaks but I dont wear anythng unless I'm away for awhile..

I lost the battle with the ins co. Gonna see if my Dr can get me something!! Hope it works out great for you Ajay. Same here with bladder issues but very seldom now.

Good to hear from you Ajay! Glad you are improving, its been an experience hasn't it!! Aside from some minor leakage and total ED at this point I am doing ok. Fighting the ins co for ED meds has been a hassle!

Hi Ajay. I was just thinking about you earlier today (as in "Where's Ajay. I should find out how he's been doing!). And of course then I had to go to a meeting.

Glad to hear there is progress. Sometimes things are slower than we'd like, but it sounds like you're beginning to "get there." We're all just glad to be able to offer a little help along a weird kinda road.

You too my friend....the tough part is over....the cancer is gone and life is good....be better with some " life " with our pal but time may be kind to us. I wish they had smiley faces to put on the posts here. SMILES.

Glad the burning is getting better...we've had enough haven't we Ajay!! I have not tried the pills yet...waiting for the infection to totally heal so in case it works I'll be good to go!

About Me:
Diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 09. Getting ready to have surgery in March and wanted some support...My surgery is scheduled for March 4th....My PSA was 14.7 and my Gleason was 7....I have chosen to have my prostate removed using the da vinci Prostatectomy...the website for that is>>WWW.daVinciSurgery.com....
