About Me:
I am currently battling metastatic stage IV prostate cancer. I was diagnosed in June 2007, underwent a radical in July of 2007, only to find out it had spread to my lymph nodes and the surgery was aborted. I have had three lupron shots, 44 IMRT's, and currently taking casodex and Avodart. I have six more Lupron shots to go, can't wait to get back to normal.

I had the awesome privilege of meeting Dr Krongrad Sat as well as a couple of friends from The Info Link. I certainly enjoyed my time in Miami Saturday and hope some good came out of our time together. Tony and Angela are wonderful advocates to the prostate cancer cause. We are blessed to have people like them fighting for us. As for the good Doctor, well he is everything I hoped he would be plus a whole lot more. If more doctors were like Dr Krongrad our world would be a better place to live.

Champions of Hope

Sept 20th at my hometown of Jackson Tn we hosted an event called the Champions of Hope. It was a day of fun and entertainment targeted to people whose lives have been impacted by cancer. That touches most people that I know. That morning we hosted a 5K run, we had 49 runners that ran in the rain. I am proud to say that my son won the first Champions of Hope 5k and hopefully he will do so again. I'm sorry I did not answer back sooner.
Seguin, Haiti is where I spent most of my time. S.E. Haiti within sight of the D.R. border. The village is about 5,500 ft above sealevel so it seems the whole world is in sight on a clear day.
Since you have been there you will understand when I say that we were about 20 miles southeast of Port Au Prince but we had to drive almost 90 miles to get there. (30 miles west, then 30 miles south, then 30 miles back to the east. Now we work in Jacmel area on the S. coast.
