Did you draw this portrait of you?
You might be interterested in the art therapy section of this website, wher Iposted several drawings. I hope you can add yur sensitivity. I also worry and want to live longer. The question is how to make every day we have a good one. For me drawing my fears and frustrations is part of the solution.
best wishes jean-jacques
I have been on Hormone Therapy for 13 months and had traditional Chinese acupuncture for 6 weekly sessions. It really helped over come the hot flashes and headaches associated with the hormone therapy. Please let me know if there are any other traditional Chinese treatments available for Prostate Cancer.
Thanks George
1. What bad English? You don't even want to imagine me trying to speak Cantonese or Mandarin! Your English is excellent.
2. I have no idea what traditional Chinese medicine recommends for prostate cancer, but here is what I think. If you try the Chinese medicine and it works, so much the better. If you try the Chinese medicine and it works for a while, and then stops working, hormone therapy will still be possible. If you try the Chinese medicine and it doesn't work at all, hormone therapy will still be available.
My son lived in Wan Chai. You bring me memories of crazy days in Mon Kok and lazy nights in Lan Kwai Fong.
Welcome. Let us know how we can help.

If you could help us by telling us a little more about you and your prostate cancer, maybe we can help you to worry a little less!
Here are the questions you can answer that would help us to help you:
-- How old are you?
-- What was your PSA level when you were diagnosed with prostate cancer?
-- What did the doctor tell you your clinical stage is (e.g. T1c or T2, or perhaps A2 or B1)?
-- Do you know what your Gleason score is? It would be a pair of numbers, like 3 + 3 = 6 or 3 + 4 = 7.
-- Do you know how many positive biopsy samples your your urologist found (and the total number of biopsy cores he took)?
-- Do you have any other significant health problems, or are you otherwise healthy?
Please do not worry too much. Most men diagnosed with prostate cancer are able to live for a long time!
If you do not know the answers to these questions, ask your doctor. He will know, and you need to know!
