Hey Lorna. Now it's become concrete. We're dealing with two inbound patients, one from the British Virgin Islands and one from Israel, who do not have health insurance. Are there any "warranty" products that they can buy for cancer surgery? If not, what's the problem? Why are there not any? Can US Risk underwrite something like this? Thanks. Arnon

A recent patient from Israel has been interviewed by an Israeli health publication about his experience in traveling overseas (to the US) for surgery. The increased visibility may cause more such cases to happen, including among the uninsured (like him).

You and I have discussed a per-case, trans-jurisdictional "warranty" insurance product, perhaps carried in London. Has there been any progress? Are such products now available?
