Why I'm here
I've been part of the online PCa community since July 1995, when my dad was diagnosed. I got a lot of help for my dad via the PPML, and connected with Gary Huckabay, who was just starting work on the Prostate Pointers group of resources. I began volunteering, and as mailing lists were added, I became the list manager. Prostate Pointers is now part of Us TOO, there are 14 mailing lists under the umbrella, and I'm still list-managing.
I came to the New InfoLink because of my regard for the first InfoLink, and wanted to see how the social networking aspect works.

One of the big advantages of this site is that we now have a chanceto see the people that we have been in contact all these years.
You had me scared for a moment. Mike keeps bringing in all these "Hi Powered" Dr. types and I thought you might be one. Now... I don't have anything against them, but glad you ARE ol and plain like me. Mike you are just jealous of ol and plain people, but.. may be by the grace of God you to will be ol and plain some day. Distant future, but just maybe. George
I saw your comment to George. Self-deprecation is banned on this site! You are neither "plain" nor "ol'."
:O)
I presume this is Dr Nancy E. Peress from Cave Creek, Arizona who is involved in Neuropathology and is a Anatomic Pathologist. I was delighted with your paper "Pericopillary Permeability of the Ciliary Processes: Role of Molecular Charge. Now... if this is not the correct Nancy, I take all of the above back. So..... whomever you are, you are now one of us and we are glad to receive you as such. Great to have you here and look forwand to engaging you on the paper above ...if you are that Nancy. Your friend Georgie

I don't think we can set up a VIP division, and if we were going to I would insist that we made Ron Koster a full member -- but I am sure you will be able to find ways to help people through this system, as you have through others. All creative ideas welcome!
