Well today is the day. Finally going to talk with my urologist who performed the biopsy. It will be good to have some concrete information. Trying to figure out what pathology report said was a lesson in frustration.

Keep me in your prayers.

Hi Peter

First I am sorry that you are here, but you are so make the best of it.

I received your message about workouts.

I can only relate to you my personal experience.

I continued to workout post Dx, pre treatment and all thorough out my treatments. So far the treatments include surgery, radiation, chemo and hormone therapy. Post surgery and radiation I had a 18 month break from treatment and completed five triathlons including an ironman distance race.

How can I help you?

hello peter - i see your already in communication with my buddy george!!

i'm happy to speak to you about treatment .... i also co-lead a very successful group here in marin, so this role is not unfamiliar. from what you briefly say, it sounds like you have an early Dx and a very hopeful outcome; nonetheless, for 90%of men, the decision making process is the most difficult aspect of he disease. if you'd like to speak, feel free to call me on 415 388 8480.

Hi Peter,
Somehow my previous message to you dissappeared. I live just north of you in Centennial. My doc is at the Univ. of Colo Hosp. in Denver. See if you can get some of your bioposy reports posted, as it will help us reach out to you. When were you diagnosed? This is the best place to get info and find support and friends. Let me hear from you. George

Thanks for the feedback Peter. This is GOOD, and means that you are likely to have plenty of time to make decisions about what you want to do. Do please put as much info as you can into your profile above.

Dear Mr Zurla:

Welsome to the network. It would help if you could put some information into your Profile Information that told us about you and your prostate cancer. That way we know, "where you are coming from." For example, are you newly diagnosed or a long time patient? If possible, please include things like your PSA, your Gleason score, your clinical stage, etc. Have a look at what Steve Oswalt (another recent member) has put on his Profile Information and you will get the idea.

If there are specific things you want to learn about, start asking questions any time you like!
