- age 60 diagnosed at age 58 with gleason 8 that wasincreased to 9 after surgery, radiation psa kept risinf , cancer was probably in the lymph nodes for the rise is psa say Dr. Charles Myers of Virginia in January of 08 and going off hormone treatment in October after only one year and psa is <.01
About Me"
Going to Virginia Friday 1/9 for my visit with Dr. Myers one year since my first visit. Sure hope the weather is better this year than last.

vacation
Have been vacationing in Clearwater Fl. for the week now. Seeing my oldest son is nice have not seen him for about 5 years. Just walking the beach and watching after my daughter. And shopping with her , she finally found a new bathing suit, whew that took forever. Just relaxing and enjoying life.

- Sounds great for next year. My wife said she wanted to take up the game so I got here some clubs from Golfio online. These clubs are just made for women and suppose to be the best. We went to the driving range one time and she practiced in the backyard some. Now the clubs are up in the spare bedroom so I guess she changed her mind. I guess I wanted to emulate my parents who played together in Florida for 20 years and played up at Riverview longer than that. But if we do get to use the condo this winter I plan to get her playing again. There is an executive course and a nine hole smaller course.
I mentioned that to some co-workers and my daughter, it was like we had to whole course to ourselves.
I just got through playing a course at Oak Harbor up here in Lake Erie. It has alot of water but no sand traps. I played pretty well by myself, just had to wait for these three men who were slower than the four women in front of them. They had a memorial tournament so I could only play 9 holes since the tournment was at 2:00 pm. I am just sitting in my cottage up here on Catawba because the plumber is coming tomorrow early to fix a leak in my water pipes. I'll take you fishing sometime if you are interested.

Perfect weather!
Your game got stronger as you went...your back nine was excellent and you hardly missed a drive on the back and were in position to par 18 (a long tough hole)...plus you out drove us both at 18.....I think you did great.....like you said you were probably a little nervouse to start which is normal...its can be intimidating your first time at Scioto...Greg also said how much he enjoyed our game as well...it was a nice relaxing game we had.....nobody behind us and nobody in front of us all day :)
My wife is always mad (not really mad just jealous) when I golf and she does not get to play....she loves to play and can't ever figure out why sometimes its just for the guys...
Be well and stay strong so we can do it again next year!

- Yes shorts are fine. I think the only rule on shorts is no cargo shorts. Yes you can hang your clothes in locker and they provide towels in the showers as well. If you have some shoes you need shined, bring them and if you leave them on floor in front of your locker they will be done while we are playing.

- Great. Just show up when you feel like it. If you check in the locker room they will have a locker for your use if you want it. Just tell them you are my guest. If you want to warm up and hit some balls then go right ahead and do so...balls are always sitting on the range for eveyones use by each practice tee...I think the weather looks good.....we will have fun!!
Warning no hats can be worn in the clubhouse and cell phone use only allowed in lock room and parking lot.....I always forget to tell my guests those two rules so I mention it now in case I forget and.or you get there much ahead of me...I will look for you when I get there.

- For some reason I was thinking you were retired but now I remember...I can't remember the guest rules for a Saturday but I can check if a Saturday is better....sorry I did not consider your work schedule.....if you want to play on a day before work we can play in the morning as well...tell me what works for you then I will check into it to see if possible...I am really looking forward to palying with you so lets make it happen one way or the other....let me know!

- June 18, 19 and 20th is the Scioto Invitational (member guest tournament) so those days are unavialable but we can try for a tee time on June 11th, 12th or even June 17th (although the 17th can sometimes be tough to get tee time as prcactice rounds going on but you never know).
Say 1:30 or 2:00 ish? If any or all those dates work let me know. I think I have to wait 5 days out to make a tee time but we can tentatively schedule our round and then I can confirm with you 5 days out.
