- I was born in and grew up in the US until coming to live in Israel in 1977. I now live in Ashdod with my partner of 25+ years. I have 2 married daughters who have become really good gay rights spokespeople. My oldest grandson(of 7 grandchildren) is also doing his bit of advocacy!
I was diagnosed about 6-7 months ago. Age 65, 120 kg, 177cm, diabetes, high blood presseure and such. On my biopsy 10 cores were examined, 2 of them (on the same side) had 20-40% cancer. Gleason 6, psa 4.2 . After talking with my urologist and consulting two other specialists, I've chosen Active Surveillance and am looking forward to many more years to enjoy my life.
