Remember that in writing to Paul you are writing to the planet. Many will read your words. So say what you have. Educate. You have an important experience to share. Arnon
If your husband is anything like me, the last thing you want to admit is that you are depressed and need help. Enough of my masculinity has been taken away via surgery and ADT therapy that admitting you are depressed is just another take away. I guess I am fortuanate that my wife is a PA and owns her own medical clinic and I got her to prescribe the Cymbalta for me. But then it really took a bad funk experience after my last Lupron injection for me to even admit that I may need help. Now the hindsight is "why didn't I do this sooner??" It may take you talking to your husband's doctor to recommend an antidepressant.

I was having severe headaches and memory problems and getting confused when stressed and thought it was due to the ADT therapy, (Lupron, Casodex and Avodart at the time). Then I found out I had developed hypertension and after a month of different medications the confusion and headaches had stopped. Then after my last Lupron injection i became severely depressed and then started on an antidepressant. I think now that I am thinking clearly and now feel a lot better about myself.
