About Me:
The short version as it applies to Prostate cancer:
Diagnosed in Oct. 04
PSA was 3.4 but since my father died of prostate cancer I got regular checkups. PSA was always 3.4.
My primary care doc suggested I get more than just a blood test.
So I went for exam and then they suggested biopsy. At age 53, 2 of 10 samples showed early cancer or precancer cells.
fought with insurance until Jan 30, 05
Got LRP by Dr. Krongrad on Feb 1, 05
PSA has been undetectable ever since.
My E.D. and incontinance has been a problem.

Thanks so much for writing, my role in Moron Haiti is to establish christian orphanages. I have a team leaving next week going for ten days to try and complete some work and get our well dug. I am so glad you do the Lord's work Levern, I pray that you will be able to continue and build on this for years to come. What areas of Haiti do you go to?

peace to you
Dale

Oh great ... Now I just feel incompetent ... What ever did happen to the other 36 hours that I couldn't fit in today?

:O)

My sons would LOVE to find out more about the zipline. We have 7 acres of woods, that includes a 100+ foot ravine. I would feel better about a zipline than them dangling from the vines they've found!

Wow - you are busy....... cool stuff, particularly grandbaby #6. And of course the undectable PSA - awesome!!! I love to hear from Dr. K alumni, how they're doing. And building your house - was that fun or what? We bought a house in 2005 (great location) and have been "rebuilding" it since. Your missions project you're working on......we're working to get PC awareness out to several countries, including the Caribbean. Would you be interested in working with us via your contacts in these various locations? Why don't you e-mail me at ajenkins56@cox.net and let's discuss off line. Glad to hear all is well. Be sure to let me know when your books are finished - what are you writing about? And Louisville, KY - we have very good friends there - visited in February. Talk to you soon.

Good catch - you're right. But I did notice the misspell on my name. I'm laughing right now! :-)

Not awkward at all -- we are doing great. Jimmy is feeling better every day. And each day holds an opportunity for healing to become complete. He's going for his 2nds PSA today, so we're anxious about that. And being a survivor is the greatest thing!
As to the questions and answers, I see you've responded to several discussions. The sister site (www.prostatecancerinfolink.net) is where all the information is. Mike posts updated stats and info nearly every day. That main site is for information. This site is designed for the personal interaction of all us asking questions and giving our opinions in an effort to help each other. If you're looking for specific answer, we'll be glad to help you find it.
