Margaret - did Al find a support group in the area? If not, let me know.

OMG...I posted on the 15th that the results were good. I must have done something wrong. No cancer cells evident. On the scale it was the lowest they can calibrate. Al is doing much better.

Don't know about a "Da Vinci" group, but the surgery group and ED group on this network will be a great source of information and support right now. You can start a discussion to ask any questions you want and others will respond. I can tell you that Jimmy was about 80% (4-5 pads a day) continent at 1 month. By 6 weeks, he was nearly 100% continent. He still has some problems if he lifts something heavy, etc, but otherwise does well. It can be very discouraging, but it definitely helps to talk with others. If he would like to talk to Jimmy directly or meet him, just let me know and we'll put them in touch. The greatest battle we face with PC sometimes, is the mental anguish. He is healing every day, maybe not with strides, but little by little. Be patient - it will get better. Stay in touch! AJ
