I assume you must have a fairly low Gleason score to have opted for watchful waiting. You might want to consider joining the Active Surveillance group to share your point of view with others, and to learn theirs.
What criteria have you decided will be determinative for seeking treatment? How often do you check? I'm coming up on a year since my diagnosis, and still find it difficult to balance the amount of time I spend paying attention to the cancer vs all the other activities in my life.
