I'm responding this way to your PCa awareness in Israel thread because I simply do not have the energy to sign on to another group. I've beaten the PCa Beast but COPD is taking me down.
Regarding blue pins and car magnets, I'm still doing that at www.pcaawareness.net
Sadly, I can only offer these at rock bottom prices and cannot afford to give them away free. However, many doctors and drug companies and hospitals have bought items to distribute. Astra-Zeneca at one time was lavishly spreading blue ribbon pins. They still may be doing so.
You really have your work cut out for you, Lenny. From your description medically and socially Israel makes the US look progressive. Israeli medicine is positively medieval and the mindset of Israeli men doesn't seem to have changed over the centuries. The only hope I see for you to succeed is to play that Prime Minister card quickly and hard and often. This is no time to be subtle. Get media attention any way you can and slam hard such disgusting things as your 47 year old friend and the complete lack of education and screening. I can provide you world and israel stats if you don't have them. Just get back to me at ricklward@earthlink.net
I am working on another poster and should have it ready in the next couple of weeks.
Take care buddy!!
Dan
I have been to Israel several times and am a supporter here in US. I was operated on by A Krongrad also. When I saw the Israeli connection to the company for incontinence just curious. I am a dentist in Arizona who has done lots of clinic research and publications. My brother and I have several Israeli colleagues we have done reseach with also.
Must be the distance or Hamas. The site is working as always here at home.
Steve
Hope you are doing well.

By all means let me know if you come to Toronto. It is just a three hour drive from Rochester. I have been over several times in my boat but that is a long "schlep" even with a lot of beer. If you are there I will drive up.
Steve
i will contact you tommorow, looking forward to see you .

I joined the Israel group because I was invited to. I've been to Israel a number of times, but not recently. I spent a year at a kibbutz a long time ago. My closest connection to the holy land right now is that my dear father, who died about 4 years ago, is buried in Jerusalem. I have not yet "visited him" there.
I once joined a group on yahoo called "Shalom Prostate" but apparently it was inactive.
I'm glad you are doing all that important work for PC.
Leah
